Dear Angela

I thought I would drop you a line to let you know how we have settled into our life in Spain.

We've have been here now for nearly two years, and cannot begin to thank you enough for all your help and
advice when we decided we wanted to make the move to Spain. I think, without the advice you gave us, we
would have made a huge mistake.

Good advice is hard to find, and I believe it was nothing short of a miracle, after all the different web sites I searched through for weeks, both day and night looking for a place to buy, that I found Go-to-Spain.com.
Not only did you advise us of the best place to buy which is rich in agriculture and good rainfall! (buy in Baix Ebro instead of Murcia, you said), but also your honesty. Most agents and websites wouldn't have given it a second thought and would have sold us a place anywhere, not caring if it matched the needs of our dreams.

We are farming our own fruit and vegetables, raising our own chickens, rabbits, turkeys and ducks, self- ufficient in all of these areas. Both children (now aged 13 and 11) have settled into Spanish life as if they were born here, speaking, reading and writing English, Spanish and Catalan. Without any regrets, the thought of returning to the UK just isn't an option; we have found our home here, this is where our souls are now; this is where we belong.

The hardest thing of all was learning to communicate with people. Not able to speak a word of Spanish was a major drawback for my husband and me, but now, after lots of patience from our Spanish neighbours, and friends, we have overcome these hurdles and speak enough catalan to hold a conversation with the local people (although we are still by no means fluent!)

Life doesn't get any better!!

As you know, both Patti and I are delighted with the olive farm; but wish here in particular to highlight for the sake of others the value we place on the comprehensive service your agency sets forth and provides overall, in association with Denise in Spain.

I refer to the progressive stages of finding a property to the client's brief and price, and the onwards representation on behalf of the client of the purchase process itself, taken through the unfamiliar and otherwise entirely confusing legal system. I confirm this 'package of service' from my own experience to have been indispensible in achieving a successful outcome.

In addition, I refer to the value of the 'after-care' services provided by Denise, involving things such as planning permission, advice about utilities and local taxes, car purchase, medical matters, etc, without which it would be likewise confusing and difficult to function.

Finally, and of no less importance, we have been most grateful for the personal friendliness shown to us both here and in Spain.
